BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT OFFICER (LPG)
Job Description:
Ø
Identify, prospect, and onboard SACCOs,
cooperatives, and member-based associations through negotiated MOUs in line
with company policy.
Ø
Develop tailored LPG solutions for SACCO members
(household, SME, agribusiness use).
Ø
Structure bulk purchase agreements, member
discounts, and credit/financing models with SACCO management.
- Ø
Drive LPG cylinder, refill, and accessory sales
through SACCO channels to achieve set targets.
- Ø
Promote cylinder exchange programs and safe LPG
usage.
- Ø
Build long-term partnerships to ensure repeat
business and contract renewals.
- Ø
Organize SACCO member forums, demos, safety
clinics / trainings, and promotional campaigns.
- Ø
Gather market intelligence on competitor
pricing, financing models, and adoption barriers.
- Ø
Maintain accurate sales pipelines and CRM
records.
- Ø
Submit weekly activity reports, forecasts, and
performance updates.
- Ø
Track conversion rates from SACCO onboarding to
active LPG customers.
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of SACCO operations and member-based
sales models
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship
management skills
- Self-driven with strong field execution capability
